The people of Amaeke Item in Bende North State Constituency of the Abia State House of Assembly were jubilant in their expression of gratitude as the agricultural revolution of Hon Nnamdi Chimdi Ibekwe touched the Amaeke Item farm road.
The women of Amaeke Item specially extolled what they described as exceptional, the inroads made by Hon Ibekwe through his projections of the huge agricultural potentials of Bende North State Constituency.
When contacted, Hon Nnamdi Chimdi Ibekwe said he is has refused to play mere politics of lip service but majorly interested in ensuring Bende is placed in proper reckoning, viz a viz the multiplier effect of agriculture in his Constituency.
Earlier in their responses HRH Eze Osondu Egesi, Rev Emmanuel Okeanwu the interim Chairman, Amaeke Item Home Branch, Mrs Ori Kalu, Woman Leader Amaeke Item Home Branch among others extolled the sterling qualities of Hon Nnamdi Chimdi Ibekwe for living up to his promises to Amaeke Item people and expressed satisfaction with his representation thus far while expressing optimism that the grading of the Amaeke Item farm road will enhance their level of productivity in agriculture, assuring the f their support to the cause of the Umunna representative.
The Bende North representative in the 8th Abia Assembly also hinted the road rehabilitation project shall spread across the entire Bende North State Constituency, adding that the introduction of improved seedlings shall follow suit as the rural dwellers gear up for this year’s farming season.
